Nintendo introduced a ton of new items, along with seasonal events, in the 1.11.0 update in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for users. Recently, developers launched another 1.11.1 update which focused on bugs and glitches upsetting the community. Changes Nintendo made in the DIY recipes in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Nintendo put some restrictions on some DIY recipes as it was ruining the game’s story mode. All the DIY recipes that got restrictions are obtainable by making progress in the story mode. However, some players used to sell these items, and the newcomers could get their hands on them without exploring the storyline.
Therefore, Nintendo put some restrictions, and now if you have a DIY recipe in your pocket before visiting or leaving a friend’s island, it will simply disappear. In simple terms, it means you can’t take over 70 DIY recipes to Dodo Airlines now in New Horizons. This is a splendid strategy from Nintendo as it wants to stop people from exploiting the game.

After these changes, newcomers will try their best to make progress in the storylines to get these items into their pockets. This is also affecting players who used to host treasure islands by offering users inaccessible items. The inaccessible recipes are like Trash items or Golden Axe, where a person can learn the DIY recipe by reaching a milestone, but there is no physical DIY card for such items.
However, you can get the physical DIY card for these recipes if you hack into the game, which is truly against the game’s principles. Hackers used to host treasure islands where they used to sell these types of items; however, after the 1.11.1 update players can’t carry these items back to their island.
