Animal Crossing: New Horizons appeared at the right time to provide the kind of escape we were looking for. The game can be enjoyed at its own pace. The game has a pleasing aesthetic combined with the incentive to have an island of your own.

There is just so much that you can do in the game. The activities range from crafting items from raw materials to visiting other islands in your dreams.

The second summer update brought with itself the propensity to dream, save your island back up and enjoy a weekly fireworks show on your island. However, that’s not all. The Nook Shopping catalog has also added some new items to its seasonal collection.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Seasonal Items Now Available

These seasonal items include a Rodeo-style springy ride-on (a spring-mounted rocking horse) available for 2,000 Bells. The Rodeo horse is a testament to the Cowboy Festival.

Hikoboshi Outfit and Orihime Outfit are also available, priced at 2,500 bells each. These costumes celebrate Cowherd & Weaver Girl Day. It is celebrated in China on the 7th day of the 7th month. These are available under the Seasonal Tab Nook Shopping terminal until the 31st of this month.

This comes as a welcome change for all of us. And why not? Players can’t really travel to celebrate these festivals, but Animal Crossing makes it possible to bridge that gap.

New Bugs and Fishes to Catch

Players in the Northern Hemisphere can retract moray eels, rays, and soft-shelled turtles. This is also the perfect time for players to catch beetles and other summer insects and buds in the game.

Don’t miss out, it might seem like a task but it’s actually a lot of fun.
