Rachell Hofstetter, better known as Valkyrae, has just crossed over two million subscribers on YouTube. Currently, a part of the 100 Thieves organization, she has become an advocate for women in gaming and stands as the first female content creator for 100T.
Valkyrae gathered a following soon after she had vested her interest in gaming and content creation. There was just no stopping her after that. Moreover, the American video gamer left Twitch earlier this year to sign an exclusive contract with YouTube.
Valkyrae has become a heavyweight in the streaming industry and has won several awards for it too. She has been voted as ‘The Fastest Growing Live Streamer In The World’ & ‘The Biggest Female Gaming Streamer In The World’ by Ryan Wyatt.

Valkyrae has seen an exponential rise in the last few months
The American streamer took another step on the ladder of success when she joined hands with ‘Murda Beatz’ back in 2018 for Fortnite Pro-Am.

A major surge in viewership came when she started streaming InnerSloth’s Among Us. The game had rolled out back in 2018 but was invigorated by several streamers this year. This was the beginning of a symbiotic relationship, causing exponential growth for both the title and many streamers other than Valkyrae.
To shed more light on her channel, Valkyrae shared a tweet that boasted some intriguing numbers. Her channel exploded from around 300,00 viewers back in January to over 11,000,000 viewers in October.

However, this didn’t happen overnight. Valkyrae used to stream for around thirty-six hours back in January and jumped to over a hundred hours by October this year to accomplish this feat. So she has certainly put the work in.

Among Us has been a breakout title this year
InnerSloth’s title has been an internet sensation for a few months now. YouTube’s Ryan Wyatt shared a statistic last month that drew our attention to the fact that Among Us had totaled over four billion YouTube views in September. This list includes gameplays, live streams, sketches, animations, and so on.
This makes it easy to assume that Among Us has become the go-to title for streamers aiming to add another title to their portfolio. Among Us is frequently compared with Mojang’s Minecraft. However, this doesn’t really call for a comparison with the title, as Minecraft is simply endless. Imagination is the only limitation that players face there.

Among Us offers limited content but has still seen a surge in growth, enough to be compared to a game like Minecraft that has been out for much longer.
This has been the case for several streamers this year. The lockdown has forced everyone within the four walls of their homes. This has prompted streamers to add more content to their streams, which has seen a mammoth rise in viewership.
