American football is a sport comprising thrill at the cost of heavy hits and hazards. Given the game’s viciousness, there are higher chances of an athlete facing an injury. But few have spoken about it openly. Miami Dolphins‘ Byron Jones recently stirred things up after a couple of tweets hinting toward retirement and criticizing the NFL.
