Alfa Romeo driver Kimi Raikkonen is undoubtedly one of the funniest drivers on the F1 grid, without even trying. Intentionally or unintentionally, the way he carries himself ans his sheer bluntness makes him a unique driver in the F1 paddock. Now at 40 years old, nobody imagined that he will be staying in the sport for this long. But some pretty strong performances in 2019 has shown that he’s still got it in himself.
The biggest advantage Raikkonen has claimed multiple times before is that he is free from non racing stuff in Alfa that used to bug him in Ferrari: public appearances, sponsor events, politics etc. Alfa Romeo keep these to a minimum and only release some very selective, but incredibly good videos involving the Finnish driver.
Earlier this year, the team posted a video where Kimi Raikkonen was discussing his music tastes.

Earlier, the Alfa Romeo team posted a video where Raikkonen was discussing his music tastes. He revealed that he likes listening to Finnish music, but has not particular preference. He mostly listens to them during the drivers parade where he is usually seen with his earpods on.

But its not just his music preference that makes this video is a good watch. During this video, he revealed his little secret, where he simply plugs in his earphones. It gives off the impression that he was listening to music and nobody should talk to him.
What does Kimi listen to on his headsets before the race…? 🤔👉🏻😂 #FrenchGP pic.twitter.com/Wsm1WqABuV

Interestingly, this is totally something Kimi can pull off without drawing anybody’s attention or offending anyone. He’s just a severely cool headed guy who doesn’t bother too much about others. He loves racing, racing is his passion and everything else is just background noise.
He returns in the 2020 season fighting with the rechristened Alfa Romeo Racing Orlen team. They come with a new co-title sponsor and Robert Kubica as their development driver. It is an incredibly tricky season for the team considering the new rules kick in 2021 and Kimi might not be there forever to help them guide.
