West Ham United are on the verge of signing Cameroon International Alex Song who had just enjoyed a terrific loan spell at Upton Park last season. A very good player at his role, the central defensive midfielder was mind blowing at his previous clubs such as Arsenal where he was quite known for his superb through balls and passes.

Bilic, the new Hammers manager, is eager to get Song back again to Upton Park. Song has reportedly attracted interest from top notch clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City but it has been understood that the Cameroonian has agreed personal terms with West Ham. Song still has two years left in his contract at Barcelona FC and a fee of around £5m is being finalised for his move to West Ham.

Song moved to Barcelona from Arsenal for a fee of £15m before his loan spell. After arriving at Upton Park, Alex Song has made appearances of total 31 for West Ham and had become quite the fan favourite.
