Alex Rodriguez Revealed His Sneaky Secret to be Jennifer Lopez’s “Hot Date” at a Prestigious Red Carpet in 2019

After Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez started dating in 2017, the couple became the official power couple linking up Hollywood and MLB. Analogous to that, their popularity and highly public relationship attracted large masses of well-wishes and positivity towards their relationship.

Similarly, back in 2019, while A-Rod and J.Lo got ready for the Oscars, the Behind The Scenes video of the event involved an abundance of adorable moments that pretty much explained their popular relationship.

A-Rod reveals his secret to being Jennifer Lopez’s hot date

During the BTS video, A-Rod talked about the fact that he had to look “hot” on Oscar night as he was accompanying his then-fiancee Jennifer Lopez. He said, “You know this is very challenging. I have to be Jennifer’s date or hot date, whatever.” He continued adding, “And with this face, I’ll have work to do. However, when I try to do my secret edge without looking at her George and cabinets.”

Alex Rodriguez continued to talk about how he had to make sure he looked good, and how he planned on achieving that through J.Lo’s cabinet. He said, “I try to sneak into her cabinets a little bit and see what she uses for her skin. Her skin is flawless all the time and I don’t get it. So I use the same products, the same creams, the same lotion, but this s**t doesn’t work for me.”

Unfortunately, things didn’t work out for the engaged couple. And after two postponed marriages, in 2021, A-Rod and JLo announced the end of their relationship.
