Being the offensive leader of the Pinstripes, Judge has been struggling from the plate in the postseason. And none other than the former Yankee Alex Rodriguez has figured out why the MVP favorite has been failing from the plate lately.

Notably, after winning the first game of the ALDS, the Yankees faced a defeat in the second game in the Bronx. And given the series is tied at 1-1, anything can happen from here.

Earlier on Friday, when the Yankees faced a 4-2 defeat against the Guardians in Game 2, Alex Rodriguez pointed out why the Guardians might have an edge over the mighty Yankees. The former Yankee also discussed why Aaron Judge is struggling from the plate.

A-Rod suggested the Yankees management not use their best player as a lead-off hitter. He said that it is also affecting Judge’s form. Notably, Judge is yet to hit a home run in the postseason.

“As far as Aaron Judge; This is gimmicky baseball. You can not let your best player hitting first. Babe Ruth did not do it, Barry Bonds did not do it… I did not do it. It does not exist. The reason why is you want to put two best hitters in front and best two hitters behind…” A-Rod said.

“It’s ridiculous that this guy is hitting lead off. And it’s a mistake. I don’t know who is doing it, Boone or Cashman, but somebody has to change that immediately.”

Will Judge be able to guide the Yankees to the championship?

The New York Yankees have not played their best game for a while now. Even their star hitter Aaron Judge has been struggling to hit a home run. And considering these facts, the Yankees have fewer chances to play the World Series.
