This weekend is the NASCAR Cup Series race at the LA Coliseum. After that non-points race, the real season kicks off at the Daytona 500. However, some like Brad Keselowski and Dale Earnhardt Jr are eagerly awaiting the next race on the calendar. To be precise, they are waiting for the Cup race at the Auto Club Speedway in California.
This conversation started because Jeffrey Earnhardt confirmed that he will race for Sam Hunt Racing in select events. The confirmed races are, Daytona, Auto Club, Atlanta, Texas, Charlotte, Nashville, and Bristol. In light of this, Dale Jr wondered whether anyone would be excited to return to Auto Club.

According to him, it was a ‘fun speedway’, Brad Keselowski and Alex Bowman evidently agreed with the Hall of Famer. Of course, the Roush Fenway Racing driver did have one suggestion. Keselowski said, “Definitely one of the best races of the year. Will be even better when the backstretch bumps get fixed and you can make big moves over there.”

Brad Keselowski will be focusing on the 2022 Cup season
For the moment, the Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing driver will channel his efforts on the opening race of the season at the Coliseum. This is a brand new track for everyone, and the person who wins gets bragging rights. However, it is worth mentioning that there are concerns about the track itself.

The small size of the speedway has concerned many, and they are worried about potential carnage. Additionally, this race could either be a procession or a demolition derby. No team will want the latter, especially since there are a limited number of spare parts. To make matters worse for the teams, NASCAR has become a lot more strict with the Next Gen cars.
