In a recent interview, eight-time Grand Slam champion?Andre Agassi?spoke on his split with Novak Djokovic. He admitted that the Serb’s physical problems played a factor in their co-operation.??I didn?t realise the status of how bad it (the elbow) was until I was watching him go through his daily recoveries from his matches and the anti-inflammatories he was taking and concern he was having,’?Agassi said.
‘Then we met in August and got the best doctors in the world together to meet him in Toronto ? it was my strong opinion that he should have surgery in August so we would be way ready for Australia. You know, he had strong feelings about healing holistically and had feelings about how his body could handle it.

He was ended being forced into a different decision in late January There were just a lot of decisions that were procrastinating a real conviction of approach.??Djokovic’s niggling elbow issues threw a spanner in the works with regard to them from working together on a consistent basis. Agassi continued,??Of course, we never seemed like we could have a couple of days in a row that we could count on from a health perspective and that?s not his fault ? it?s too bad.

He?s quite the talent and I wish more energy was spent on the mind and the game. It was an intersection and I believe everything happens for a reason ? hopefully, it was a positive one in his life. Hopefully, I helped to push him to the next level of dealing with what he needs to in order to get back to what he?s very capable of.
