Valorant developer promises Dr. DisRespect more maps

Lydia Zanotti on Twitter is the 3D environment artist for Riot Games. She is currently working on making maps for Riot’s FPS game Valorant. After Doc requested new maps in the game, Lydia replied to his tweet, saying that she will get him his maps.

On previous occasions, Lydia has made it clear through her tweets that she has been working on a new map. New maps will take some time to come out since the team has a significant amount of work to put in. They had to move up the timeline for Icebox, which was a hard job as it is.

Fans have been asking for community maps in Valorant for a long time. However, Valorant has only been out for close to a year. Therefore, the developers feel they need to give the game some time to mature before releasing such a feature.

This doesn’t mean Dr. DisRespect can’t join hands with Valorant to come up with a map of his own. The popular streamer has already shown he can get the job done as he previously made a map for another game: Rogue Company.

Instead of this being a community map-making tool, Riot could end up collaborating with Doc. Doc has openly appreciated Valorant, which could help Riot attract more players. Therefore, a collaboration between the two would not be a bad idea after all. As Dr. DisRespect said in his tweet, his flip phone is wide open, and he’s waiting for Riot’s call.
