Yet another addition to Candace Parker’s legacy of Adidas athletes! As a brand ambassador and executive for the German brand, Parker has been instrumental in shaping partnerships with athletes like Aliyah Boston and Hailey Van Lith. And Satou Sabally is no exception. The WNBA All-Star has officially made the jump from the Jordan Brand to adidas after inking a multi-year endorsement deal with the iconic Three Stripes. Her move hasn’t gone unnoticed by her peers.
As the announcement hit Fever star Aliyah Boston’s feed, she penned a heartfelt welcome for her fellow adidas athlete. “the best place to be!! Welcome,” she wrote. Boston, a signature athlete herself, represents the strong sense of camaraderie within the brand’s growing roster of WNBA stars.
Notably, Sabally’s new contract places her among an elite group of players, including Chelsea Gray, Kahleah Copper, and Nneka Ogwumike, among others. However, Sabally didn’t follow the path pursued by other players.

Back in 2020, she inked an endorsement deal with the Jordan Brand, which was a huge achievement at the time. After four years of partnership, she finally left the company to join the iconic Three Stripes.
Why not? Her partnership with adidas is a natural fit for a player of her caliber. From her standout performances in the Unrivaled 3×3 league to her leadership on the German women’s national team, she embodies the ethos of adidas—empowering athletes to excel while driving meaningful change in sports. But there seems to be a strategic mind behind Sabally’s move.
Satou Sabally and Candace Parker share a unified vision as Wings’ star takes a bold next step in her career.
From leaving behind the Jumpman to joining a star-studded Adidas lineup, Satou Sabally is charting a path of empowerment, creativity, and bold moves. “Joining the adidas Basketball family is a dream come true,” she shared. “I can’t wait to inspire the next generation and continue moving the game forward with the support of my adidas family.”

All of this aligns with Candace Parker’s vision for Adidas. In her 16 years of relationship with Adidas, Parker’s off-court goal was always to bring W’s top talents to Adidas to inspire the next generation. And, she did accomplish that. Boston herself has dedicated Parker to influencing her inking endorsement with Adidas.
Sabally is yet anther example. The WNBA legend and President of Adidas Women’s Basketball, highlighted the significance of this signing: “Satou was a priority addition to the adidas Basketball family, and we couldn’t be more excited to have her joining.”
“Her versatility and commitment to making an impact made her a no-brainer for the adidas roster. Satou is a unicorn on and off the court, and we’re thrilled for her to help in building the future of adidas Basketball,” she added.
