People on the final night of the Democratic National Convention were left feeling a bit let down. That’s because they were expecting to see the Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce in the event. Per reporter Gayle King, Kelce was supposed to attend the final night of the DNC in Chicago this week.

While the crowd was excited, the NFL star never turned up. Well, the Chiefs’ TE has never been very vocal with his political preferences. And it looks like Kelce has been involved in something else, while all expected him to be at the DNC. So, where was he? Well, TMZ has captured his photo with Taylor Swift at the pop singer’s Rhode Island home. Looks like Kelce is not giving up quality time with the love for anyone. But how were they seen together?

Kelce and Swift were seen beside each other again, standing over the edge of Taylor’s balcony. It seemed like they were enjoying the briny breeze of the Atlantic Ocean. Moreover, Kelce was easily recognizable from his iconic mustache, as he wore a white sleeveless tank top to enjoy the beach sun. And when was the last time we saw the love birds together?

Well, Kelce and Swift were seen together in Germany, where the tight end was found to wrap an arm around Taylor’s waist. Moreover, in May, the couple was seen celebrating their anniversary in the Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Italy. They enjoyed a blissful time, sharing a candlelight dinner as they gazed lovingly at each other.

After enjoying a year full of sweet memories, this might be the last time the love birds get to spend time together before the season starts. As the year progresses to its later half, the NFL season approaches. How is the Chiefs’ TE preparing for the 2024 season?

Travis Kelce’s road to the NFL 2024 season

Although Travis Kelce did not play the Chiefs’ final preseason game against the Bears, he was all smiles ahead of that game, “As far as the rotation goes for the Bears, I’ll probably sit the starters the way it looks right now, and we’ll have the other guys get out there and play,” per HC Andy Reid. But Kelce was seen to break a sweat despite not being padded up. He was also seen punting the pigskin, something he is not seen to do often. And what else did he do earlier this week?

Well, Kelce was seen to share a bit of his football knowledge with students of the Tight End University offseason program. Moreover, he was also seen to catch a behind-the-back pass by his QB, Patrick Mahomes, in their game against the Detroit Lions. But what was more surprising about it? Well, the TE managed to catch the pigskin despite running the wrong route, “He was supposed to run a flat route. … I’m yelling at him and then he doesn’t run it,” per Mahomes.
