Hiltz won the women’s 1500-meter race at the 2023 USA Track & Field Championships on Saturday in Eugene, Ore. They said to Sports Illustrated, “I think there’s so much hate right now, and specifically the bills being passed for trans youth. I just feel like the LGBTQ community needed a win”.
After securing the championship title, Nikki Hiltz took to Instagram to share the triumphant moment with the world. Tagging Richardson and including one of Richardson’s famous quotes, Hiltz posted, “I am not back, I’m better.” This heartfelt gesture created an endearing moment among fans, leaving the 28-year-old’s Instagram followers overwhelmed with joy.
