This week’s AEW Dynamite featured from the Fertitta Center in Houston, Texas. The most anticipated match on the card was the fight between Chris Jericho and MJF, where Chris would face his final “labor” and put an end to this rivalry. The stunning match received praise from one of the greatest of all time, Ric Flair.
However, the result of the match was not something that Jericho would have wanted. After putting away four lethal wrestlers, Jericho could not seal his victory against MJF.

The match might’ve disappointed Jericho, but two-time WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair took to Twitter and praised both the wrestlers for putting on a dramatic main event.
Flair said that tonight’s major event of AEW Dynamite really elevated the professional wrestling business and did justice to it. Flair further added that he himself is very proud of the two individuals.
Congrats To @IAmJericho And @The_MJF! Chris, You Made Our Business Better For Everyone Tonight, And You Made Me Proud! This Is What The Great Ones Do! WOOOOO!

After the tweet, Jericho acknowledged what Flair had to say and thanked him for his kind words.
Thanks Champ! Means so much….Eternal respect my friend! https://t.co/fguhB79buf

Earlier this month, WWE released Flair after he demanded to leave. Since then he has shown no signs of sitting back and relaxing; away from the wrestling business.
‘The Nature Boy’ made a surprise appearance at AAA’s TripleMania in Mexico, where he accompanied his daughter’s fiance – Andrade El Idolo; where he was about to face Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega Championship.
