On tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite, the crowd witnessed a classic wrestling bout between the former WWE champion, Bryan Danielson and Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Heavyweight championship.

The two technicians wrestled for an hour; however, the match ended in a draw and the title didn’t change hands. Although the title never left Adam Page, the fans were stoked by the sheer determination and storytelling in the hour-long match.

Two-time WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair took to Twitter and heaped praises for the two wrestlers for putting on a grand exhibition of technical wrestling and storytelling in a single match.

Bryan Danielson and Hangman Adam Page stole the show

This seemed like an excellent booking decision by AEW president Tony Khan as it doesn’t make the AEW champion look weak, and neither does it take any credibility away from Bryan Danielson as a challenger.

On the same notion, the match was so buzzing that the crowd didn’t get riled up after the bell rang because of the time limit. Instead, they applaud the wrestlers for an incredible performance.
