“Well, it’s definitely gonna happen in AEW,” Henry said of his final match. “It’s not going to be anytime soon, I think. I want to be 100%. I am still nursing injuries from 4 years ago.
“The wrestling business is a tough business, it’s not meant for everybody. Being in my home state, it would be cool to be able to do that, but not at this current time,” he revealed.

AEW: Rampage goes live on the TNT Network on August 13. They are going to be a direct competitor of SmackDown on Friday Nights. As he recovers from his injuries, Henry looks forward to making his mark as a color commentator.
He said, “I will be on a new show called Rampage. We’re going to be on Fridays, I’m sure you’ve seen the commercials. I want to be one of the best commentators.”
“I want to compete with Jim Ross, I want to compete with my Coco (Michael Cole), I want to compete with Pat McAfee, and we’re going to have a good time doing it, I think fans are going to come away from it seeing Mark Henry a little differently,” he concluded.
Henry was a part of WWE since his debut in 1996. He became a Hall of Famer in 2018 after worldwide fame. This is a new chapter for Henry as he never did commentary before.
