Every wrestling fan is aware of the enormous impact Hardy Boyz have had on the pro-wrestling world. Jeff and Matt Hardy not only revolutionized the tag team scene but also excelled as individual characters.

However, in a ‘twist of fate,’ both brothers are currently in rival promotions. Jeff Hardy is a part of WWE RAW while Matt continues to be ‘broken’ on AEW Dynamite.

But this difference could not take the fair play out of the 14-time World Tag Team champion. Recently, he retweeted one of WWE’s Top 10 countdowns featuring the Hardy Boyz.

He not only thanked the company but also claimed the Hardy Boyz are far from over while taking a dig at the Young Bucks.

“Cool that WWE posted this. I honestly believe @JEFFHARDYBRAND & I have more magical memories to create together. P.S. We’re still better than The Young Bucks.”

Like Hardy Boyz, Young Bucks are also a tag team of two brothers Matt and Nick Jackson. They are the current AEW Tag Team Champions as well as AEW EVPs.

Apart from mainstream wrestling, Young Bucks are a household name in indie promotions. They are a record seven-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, as well as three-time ROH Tag team champions.

However, Hardy Boyz remain a class apart and an inspiration to many tag teams. They introduced TLC matches and revolutionized the tag team division.

Is Jeff Hardy coming to AEW to team up with Matt Hardy?

Last year, Jeff Hardy gained some momentum after he won the Intercontinental Championship on SmackDown. However, he soon dropped the title to Sami Zayn and got drafted to RAW.

Hardy had a brief feud with Elias but soon turned into a jobber. He recently lost to a returning Jinder Mahal much to the fans’ chagrin. On the other hand, Matt has thrived in his veteran wrestler/mentor role in AEW.

He has had impressive matches in AEW including a cinematic match. Hardy currently manages two tag teams, namely The Private Party, and the Butcher and The Blade. He had named the stable Matt Hardy Empire or the Hardy Family Office.

Fans want Jeff to cross over to AEW. But his contract does not expire soon.

The Hardy Boyz were last seen together in WWE in 2019. They were the SmackDown Tag Team champions before vacating it because of injuries.

Matt left WWE in 2020 after sporadic appearances on the main roster. He hinted at creative differences, but nothing else was said. Jeff continued with singles competition after his brother left.
