Legendary wrestling commentator, Jim Ross recently took to Twitter and announced the sad news of him having to undergo a total of 22 radiation treatments which will start from Monday. WWE icon, The Rock has sent out an encouraging message to Jim Ross.
Earlier this year, Jim Ross announced to the world via his Twitter that he might have skin cancer. However, that never stopped his spirit as a wrestling veteran, and he kept on doing his job.
However, recently he announced that he’ll be taking time off from AEW because of his upcoming tedious treatment schedule.

“Due to my skin cancer care totaling 22 radiation treatments starting Monday, I will hopefully return to the announce desk on December 29 in Jacksonville. @TonyKhan supports me on this strategy which has been a blessing. My thanks for all your support.”

The Rock wished JR well
Multiple wrestling superstars from various promotions replied to JR’s tweet and wished all the well for his future. Similarly, the future WWE Hall of Fame, The Rock took to Twitter and wished his long-time WWE well as he prepares himself for the road ahead.

There’s no denying that JR has done so much for the wrestling industry, and had more say in the WWE than just doing commentary. However, the voice of wrestling has called some of the biggest matches of The Rock’s career.
From winning his first championship to headlining WrestleMania, JR has been on call for The Great One on many occasions. The rivalry of ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and The Rock would not have felt the same without the voice of Jim Ross.
