The name-dropping game between AEW and WWE is getting intense and better with each passing week. Last week on AEW Rampage took some brutal shots at WWE upon his debut in AEW, and Becky Lynch then used the same catchphrase on SummerSlam that Punk used in his debut. This week it was the first time when Vince McMahon was used inside an AEW ring.

On last night’s AEW Dynamite in a segment between Omega and Christian Cage, ‘The Cleaner’ Kenny Omega’s heel manager, Don Callis name drops WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon and other wrestling promoters in front of the live audience.

Don Callis considers himself better than Vince McMahon and others

AEW World Champion Kenny Omega, Don Callis, Brandon Cutler, and Michael Nakazawa joined the ring with IMPACT Wrestling Champion Christian Cage ahead of their match at AEW All Out.

Christian Cage has a bitter memory of Don Callis because Callis allegedly left Christian in his early wrestling days, and last night Callis gave his reasoning for it.

Callis takes away the mic and says they are going to take down Christian Cage once and for all. He confessed he ditched Christian and ended up taking a very young Omega under his wing since he was family.

Further in his promo, Callis said that he is the greatest wrestling promoter in the whole wide world and no one can ever question his decisions. He then names some promoters and named McMahon in the process.

“That makes me just like Bill Watts, Eddie Graham, Vince McMahon, and Verne Gagne,” Callis said.
