The world of pro wrestling has been on fire since CM Punk entered the arena of All Elite Wrestling. He is the talk of the town for today, and many more days to come.

With his fans being just glad Punk’s back, there are some fans still wondering why he chose AEW and not any other promotion. Did AEW prove itself to be the better option to Punk? In a media call with AEW, Sean Ross Sapp got the answer to this head-scratching question.

According to Sean, Punk stated that AEW did not have to prove anything to him. Punk wanted to try out WWE Backstage, and he blames former WWE backstage anchor Renee for it.

The fans are happy and emotional at the same time. And watching Punk’s debut, it seemed like he, too, was very emotional. If people didn’t believe in AEW before, they better believe in it now. No matter what happens, Punk joining AEW will be one of the most memorable moments in wrestling history!

Speaking on behalf of all wrestling fans, we have been waiting for this moment for over 7 and a half years. This is the greatest thing that has happened in wrestling in the last decade. AEW needs to be applauded for its amazing work.

Punk’s debut means AEW’s ratings are through the roof. It is becoming more and more clear that All Elite Wrestling is a legitimate rival of WWE. It already has a massive fan base of people who are tired of WWE and want to watch something fresh.

With a good deal of ex-WWE wrestlers already present at AEW, the addition of the ‘Best in the World‘ is the cherry on the cake. And by the looks of things, AEW doesn’t look like they will stop just yet. There are still rumors flying about Braun Strowman and Daniel Bryan joining the roster.
