Christopher Daniels vs Bryan Danielson – the first ROH main event
The very first show of ROH happened in February 2002 inside the Murphy Rec Center. Interestingly, there were two familiar faces who competed in the main event that night. Both Bryan Danielson and Christopher Daniels were involved in a triple threat main event that night, where neither of them won.
While breaking this huge announcement on AEW Dynamite, Khan mentioned the aforementioned match and also noted that Daniels and Bryan are still feeling sour about not winning that night.
