Former ROH megastar, Jay Lethal is All Elite now. On last night’s AEW Full Gear PPV, AEW broadcaster Tony announced the entry of Jay Lethal in Tony Khan’s company.
Lethal is no stranger to the pro-wrestling industry and is one of the biggest stars on the independent circuit. Now, with ROH gone on an indefinite hiatus, it looks AEW will be a suitable home for the former X-Division champion.
Eventually, Lethal could be a perfect mix with the AEW roster where there is a combination of veterans and the young generation. Lethal has earlier worked alongside Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Randy Savage, and many more wrestling legends.

Defeating Kurt Angle in TNA
The former WWE champion, Kurt Angle TNA, was a different beast in TNA. The legendary wrestler would lay waste to anyone put ahead of him and would produce classic matches, one after the other.
However, Jay Lethal produced one of the biggest upsets in Angle’s career when he defeated the former Olympian for the X-Division Championship at TNA No Surrender 2007.
Throughout the match, Lethal took the beating of his life when Angle hit him with devastating german suplexes. However, Lethal cleverly put Angle in a roll-up pin to secure a win against The Wrestling Machine.
Imitating legendary Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage
Former WWE champion, Randy Savage, was one of the most decorated superstars in the history of the pro-wrestling business, and Jay Lethal imitated the legend to perfection during his TNA days.
During his TNA run, Lethal transformed into the ‘Black Machismo’ where he wore similar drapes like Randy Savage and shades like him.
