Last night’s AEW Rampage may have ended badly for title challenger Abadon, but she has definitely made a mark. Her super intriguing persona perfectly fits the Halloween theme and, unsurprisingly, she is a fan favorite. Superstars with a secret personality and elaborate alter ego connect significantly better with the fanbase. Her terrifying face paint, and all in all, the superhuman gimmick has gone over incredibly well.

This may be the reason why she is one of the most interesting personalities and fans simply can’t get enough of her. However, the actual face of the wrestler underneath the make-up is not scary at all. Behind the gimmick is the face of a real person that everyone would love to befriend. Thus far, the promotion hasn’t touched upon her backstory, and it is still a closely guarded secret.

AEW superstar Abadon’s real identity revealed

The hardcore fanbase of the wrestling world loves the superstar for all the right reasons. However, a quick google search can dissipate the Kayfabe that desperately wants to her hide true identity. According to a report by 18news, Abadon’s real name is Monica Beadnell, and she was born and raised in the united states.

In the Kayfabe world, she is the devourer of souls and serves as the ultimate punishment on the entire female roster. Any outing against this female wrestler is not going to be fun, and her brutal matches are an absolute favorite of every single fan. After spending a few weeks battling women in dark matches, she made her way to the main roster.

Her feud with iconic Japanese wrestler Hikaru Shida is her best work in the promotion. However, this isn’t the extent of her storyline, as there are countless possibilities and feuds to be had.
