Professional wrestling lost a step or two when competition dried up in the North American region. Things only became stale and downright PG, which saw a mass exodus of hardcore wrestling fans of the world. However, the inception of AEW changed that image, and once again, wrestling embraced the adult and mature fanbase.
Deathmatches, crazy spots, and hardcore elements have once again become the norm. In this past week’s AEW Rampage, women’s world champion Brit Baker ‘DMD’ and Abadon went to war. The match carried a Halloween-themed stipulation, no disqualification, which guaranteed delightful professional wrestling action.

AEW has put on a fantastic show en route to Full gear
The last week’s rampage was indeed one of the better shows in recent history. The night opened up with The American Dragon going to head-to-head with Eddie Kingston. The bout was an absolute delight, and the finish lived up to the expectation. Eddie’s hardcore wrestling style and never-say-die attitude were on full display. Bryan Danielson also held his own, showcasing promising moves and an impressive triangle choke to close the match.
This was soon followed by the high-flying stars of AEW in Dante Martin and Matt Sydal 3. The young prodigy failed best at the maestro in the first two outings, but the third time was indeed the charm. Dante finally bested the veteran of the sport, proclaiming a crucial win, which definitely impressed the world.

Brit’s title will be up for grabs in Full Gear
The storyline between AEW’s world champion Brit Baker and Tay Conti continues to unfold. With each passing week, Tay Conti’s feud with Brit Baker continues to develop. Not too long ago, the champ faced Tay’s friend Anna Jay in a grudge match. Things didn’t go well for Ana, as she lost the match via tap out. Despite winning the match, Brit refused to let go and continued to apply the ‘Lockjaw’.
This compelled Tay to come out and defend her friend while forcing Brit to run away. This just might be the last interaction between the two, as Brit might take a few days off, following the gruesome match against Abadon.
