The belt collector, Kenny Omega, made his presence felt in the latest AEW Dynamite. The World Champion had prepped a unique plan for the challenger, and the contract signing with Hangman Adam Page was a trap. Kenny had planted the veteran professional wrestler, Don Callis, as a cameraman.

Right after the duo delivered their final fighting words, Kenny Invited Hangman to shake his hand one final time for old time’s sake. Little did he know that Don was waiting to smack him square across the head and leave him bloodied in the ring. Kenny Omega then pulled off a massive heel move by signing the contract with Hangman’s blood.

Full Gear will decide the fate of the AEW World title

As a part of the annual routine, the promotion hosts a world title eliminator tournament to decide the next challenger. The 2021’s version of the tournament has seen Miro and Bryan Danielson making it to the final spot. As these two veterans duke it out in the prelims, Kenny Omega and Hangman will conclude their longstanding rivalry.

Hangman faced failures and disappointing losses in the main stages of the previous year. His time with the elite never produced anything worthwhile, which furthered his descent into madness. However, it was further boosted by a crucial loss to Kenny Omega in the 2020’s Full Gear conclusion of AEW world title eliminator. He felt betrayed and downright disgusted by the way the elite treated him over the years, which saw him joining hands with Dark Order.

With fate being on Hangman’s side, once again the Cowboy has made it back to top. This time at Full Gear, fans will once again get the chance to witness two fantastic wrestlers putting it all on the line. This might be Hangman’s one last chance at claiming the world title, as the promotion will crown a new number one contender for the champion.
