Junior Dos Santos took the liking to professional wrestling

‘Cigano’ recently appeared in an interview on “Throwing Down with Renee Paquette and Miesha Tate.”, where he detailed the difference between his fights inside the octagon and inside the squared circle.

The 37-year-old athlete admitted transitioning from MMA to wrestling was not that difficult because he already knew the basics because of his fighting career.

“I felt it was easy to work with all of them. I’ve been fighting for so many years. There’s no big difference. There’s some detail you have to pay attention to, but that’s it. All the other parts, that’s why I was able to do that kind of performance because I’m used to it because I’m used to it. I’m a fighter. There’s a lot of similarities in both sports.” [h/t: WrestlingNews]

Dos Santos clearly shows that he is not done with his bit in professional wrestling. This is not the first time that he has faced a professional wrestler in his career.

The Brazilian knockout artist seems to have a bright future here at AEW as Tony Khan has never shied away from experimenting with his roster just to see how the audience will react.

However, at this moment Dos Santos is not the only UFC megastar who has stepped inside the AEW ring. Jorge Masvidal has also laid his hands on Chris Jericho.
