Paige VanZant is a professional mixed martial artist, boxer, and model. The former UFC star is a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a member of the renowned American Top Team (ATT).
VanZant recently made news when she attended the All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite and cinematically intervened in the main-event fight. After intervening in the fight and helping Scorpio Sky win the TNT Championship, she signed her AEW contract on the drubbed Tay Conti.

Since AEW president Tony Khan announced her signing with the company on Twitter, fans have been wondering about her previous commitment to Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). However, VanZant recently ended all the speculations during a Q&A session on her Instagram story.
A fan specifically asked the flyweight division fighter whether she is still in bare-knuckle boxing. VanZant responded positively, “Yes I am, and stay tuned because I will be fighting this year so… yeah super excited.”

’12 Gauge’ had previously signed a four-fight contract with BKFC in August 2020. Although, she has only fought two of those so far and lost both, earning her a fair share of social media trolling.
Paige VanZant attacks Chris Jericho
VanZant signing a full-time contract with AEW has also given hype to a possible rivalry with Chris Jericho. Jericho, who had left WWE and joined AEW, has bitter memories of the 27-year-old fighter.

During an earlier appearance at AEW, VanZant along with other ATT members jumped in to help the gym’s founder, Dan Lambert. Once they get hold of Jericho, VanZant used the opportunity to attack Jericho with a flurry of body shots. After this, UFC fighter and ATT member Jorge Masvidal also landed a flying knee on the beat-up Y2J.

This incident extended the ongoing feud between American Top Team and the Jericho-led Inner Circle stable. Recently, VanZant indicated she has unfinished business with the former WWE superstar.
