AEW All Out was a huge success, and a lot of matches delivered more than the expectations. Although it had its ups and downs, the event was great. We even got to see the debut of former WWE Superstar Matt Sydal in the Battle Royale.
It was exciting to see him, but it certainly will be a debut to forget for the high-flyer. Hitting the ring as No.21, Sydal looked like he was going to make a huge impact.
However, as soon as he was about to deliver a huge move form the top rope, Sydal slipped and fell in an extremely awkward position.

This major botch did not go unnoticed as the Superstar was the center of attention for the crowd as well as the camera crew. He looked badly injured at the time but soon got up to being himself.
Sydal tried to make an impact on his debut. The move he was going for, which was apparently the Shooting Star Press, would’ve established him as the next big thriller in AEW.
Unfortunately, we saw something that no one expected. The fault may not be entirely on Sydal, as the top rope appeared very slippery.
Matt Sydal did not sustain any big injury
I was pretty taken aback by this botch. This is the same man we’ve seen executing the Airbourne in WWE on so many occasions. I didn’t even think the execution was a problem for Sydal.
The good news is that he doesn’t seem to have any injury. He does have a very bad memory though and it will take a couple more matches to make everyone forget this.

Matt Sydal is the latest addition to the long line of former WWE Superstars to step into the AEW ring. Like them, he too will probably make it big.

Given, he may need some time but I expect him to be flying around everywhere as he unleashes the true potential we never got to see in WWE.
