Wrestling fans all around the world remember one tag team with fond nostalgia- The Hardy Boyz. The team, consisting of brothers Jeff and Matt Hardy, revolutionized the format of Tag Team wrestling and brought chaos and destruction in every match they participated.

The two had amazing runs in WWE and won the WWF/World Tag Team Championship six times. They also won the Raw Tag Team Championship and SmackDown Tag Team Championship once each. Their reputation of being extreme in the ring was accentuated every time they entered.

Unfortunately, the two cannot compete anymore as a team since Matt Hardy now wrestles on AEW while Jeff Hardy continued in WWE. The two are solo Superstars and probably may not get to wrestle as a tag team anywhere in the near future.

Jeff Hardy has no current reason to leave WWE

While this may just be a statement of genuine feelings, a lot of fans seem to think a move to AEW in the future may be on the cards for Jeff Hardy. ‘The Charismatic Enigma’ has not been used up to what he can do in WWE but is instead used to put over talent.

WWE is still giving him the creative freedom he desires and Jeff comes out of every match a winner regardless of the result. Although, it doesn’t seem as if there is a final title run on the cards for him.

Jeff Hardy has often expressed his desire to bring back the famous persona ‘Brother Nero’ or ‘The Willow’, ones that he used very well in other promotions such as Impact and MCW. WWE, however, isn’t giving him that which could be a major motivator for him to move somewhere else.

WWE is Jeff’s home, and he has been through so much. It won’t come as a surprise if he decides to end his career in the company, given his history with it. WWE sent really ‘holding Hardy back’ in any sense and does give him the reigns when it comes to character design.
