Malakai Balck will make his in-ring debut on AEW Dynamite: Homecoming in Jacksonville against Cody Rhodes next week. Earlier this month, to everyone’s surprise, Black made his first appearance in AEW against Rhodes and attacked him.
On this week’s AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen, Rhodes was being outvoted backstage by Gorilla when Black appeared from nowhere and viciously attacked Rhodes, leaving him helpless.
The rivalry between the two wrestlers is growing with each day passing, and only one week remains before these two settle it inside the squared circle. But before we get to see it, Black made sure to let Cody know that he is in for a rough ride.

Malakai Black has been chaotic since his arrival in AEW
Alex Marvez interviewed Cody Rhodes in the gorilla position to gather his thoughts on the upcoming match against Malakai Black on the Homecoming edition of AEW Dynamite next week.
Just as Cody was about to answer, Malakai Black attacked him with a big boot. A brawl ensued and spilled into the main arena in front of the fans from the backstage area.
On the stage, Black knocked out Cody with a vicious knee strike. Several wrestlers and agents came out to check on Cody, but Black wasn’t done. He knocked out Fuego Del Sol with a brutal Black Mass before leaving the stage.

Black has now attacked Rhodes four times in a row since making his debut for All Elite Westling, Rhodes could not get an upper hand during any of these brawls before the actual match.
Clearly, the fans are excited to see Black back in action ever since WWE released him earlier this year with a serious blunder of not updating his 90-day non-compete clause.
