AEW announcer Jim Ross is currently undergoing multiple treatments for his skin cancer condition. The distinguished commentator had many wrestlers praying for his speedy recovery as he gave an update on his condition.

As per Ross’ update via his Twitter account, he will be out of the show for a couple of weeks. He will be undergoing 22 radiation treatments for his skin cancer which will, unfortunately, take him off-screen for some time. Jim Ross had a long and storied career with the WWE before switching to the commentary desk at All Elite Wrestling.

He has been a wrestling commentator for over 3 decades now. Recently, he posted a tweet where he announced his treatment will be starting from Monday. He also stated that he will return to the commentary desk by the end of December, 2021.

Many wrestlers from the wrestling industry have wished Ross for his speedy recovery and backed him to return as quickly as possible at the commentary desk. AEW Chairman, Tony Khan and many other wrestlers like CM Punk, Matt Hardy, WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam have wished Ross for his speedy recovery.

Tony Khan mentioned wanting to see Ross soon on AEW. He said, “JR, everyone here at AEW wishes you the best. I think it’s a great gameplan you’ve got, we look forward to your return to commentary, hopefully in your new hometown Jacksonville FL at New Year’s Smash at the end of December! We want you to kick the cancer’s a**, JR!”

CM Punk puts QT Marshall to sleep at AEW Dynamite

The recent episode of AEW Dynamite took place at CM Punk’s Hometown in Chicago, Illinois, featuring Punk against QT Marshall.

CM Punk faced off against Marshall, who showed off his power. Later, Marshall caught Punk on the ground, teasing him in front of the crowd. Both men fought hard until CM Punk turned the tables on Marshall.

Punk delivered a kick right on Marshall’s neck dropping him to the ground. After this, Punk dominated the match as he put Marshall down with an elbow drop. In the final moments of the match, Punk teased his ‘Go To Sleep’ gesture delivering a GTS to Marshal to pick up the win.
