AEW Superstar Chris Jericho Trolls Randy Orton

Chris Jericho doesn’t necessarily strike first, but he strikes hard for sure. In WWE Superstar Randy Orton’s latest post on Instagram, Chris Jericho left a nasty comment that has sparked a massive comment war among fans.

Randy Orton had posted a picture of him and late WWE legend Eddie Guerrero. This was in commemoration of Eddie’s birthday. As you can see in the post below, Orton thanked him for shaping his career and being there for him.

I knew eddie for a couple years. I was so young and knew that I shouldnt approach him but had the unimaginable job of wrestling in the main event on TV, so I had to. There has always been attitudes egos or whatever backstage, that will never change. But when I met eddie I forgot everything that I was supposed to know about the wrestling business. Here was this top talent, that cared enough to give me the time of day. When I thought that a simple word would bother him, or he would tell me to F off, I quickly realized that I was dead wrong and that he gaf. He saw a young newcomer to the biz who was excited to work with him and he took the time to make me feel comfortable. I take that with me these days, the understanding that the new guys aren’t anything more then exactly how I USED to be. He made me feel welcome. He made me feel important. I will forever miss him, and can say without a doubt that he was one of the greatest to ever lace up a pair of boots. RIP #eddieguerrero

Orton mentioned in his caption that he would try to work the same way with the new generation of WWE Superstars entering the company and main roster. He would try to do for them what Eddie Guerrero did for him.

However, Chris Jericho decided to pick on that one statement from the lengthy caption. The former AEW Champion sarcastically commented that he hoped the new recruits wouldn’t be as troublesome as Randy was backstage.

This comment sparked a huge debate amongst die-hard fans in the comment section. Jericho had lit a match and walked away smiling as the rabid fans tore at each other.

It quickly turned into a debate of who was the better wrestler. Chris Jericho was referred to as the greatest of all time repeatedly while WWE and Randy Orton fans tried to prove the fallacy in those claims.

Although we know Jericho loves taking shots at WWE and its Superstars, this one felt really uncalled for. Whether it was Jericho being Jericho or something else, this was not the time or place.

The fact that the post was honoring Eddie Guerrero should have been enough for a truce. Unfortunately, Jericho decided to attack Orton yet again.

The comment war may still be going on in that comment section. Randy Orton ignored the Jericho comment and did not reply directly. However, we know that somewhere, Chris Jericho is laughing.
