Most Pro-wrestlers have a life beyond wrestling and enjoy other sports as well, especially their combat sport twin, UFC. One pro-wrestler who recently went through a UFC fanboy moment was AEW Superstar, Sammy Guevara.

With a social media post, Sammy Guevara expressed his “pain” after Jorge Masvidal lost against Kamaru Usman at UFC 261. However, the AEW star decided to motivate Masvidal, letting him know that there’s always a next time. Now, that’s the spirit!

Kamaru Usman and Jorge Masvidal had a rematch at UFC 261 where Usman successfully retained his UFC welterweight championship title with a brutal second-round knockout.

The first time the duo had a match, Usman defeated Masvidal via unanimous decision. At that point, Masvidal claimed Usman did not have significant punching power. Following this, Usman wanted to have a rematch to set the record straight.

He became the first fighter to win via knockout against Masvidal.

“Now I’m satisfied,” said Usman. “They said they wanted violence out here in Jacksonville, Florida and I went out there and gave it to them.” H/t SportingNews.

Coming back to Sammy Guevara, he will be looking forward to the next fight and keep showing his support to the UFC fighter.

Sammy Guevara is working alongside Chris Jericho

‘The Spanish God’ is currently in a feud with The Pinnacle, as a part of The Inner Circle. Every member of The Inner Circle is trying to put down The Pinnacle.

It started after MJF quit the stable to start his own. The situation went beyond repair when The Pinnacle took over The Inner Circle’s locker room. Chris Jericho, Guevara and the other members mauled each member of The Pinnacle to take back their locker room.

Even though Sammy Guevara is on Chris Jericho’s good books right now, a month back, he got in trouble with AEW when he complained about a storyline that Tony Khan, Chris Jericho, and IMPACT Wrestling had come up with.

Since Guevara directly contacted IMPACT about the creative direction, Jericho asked IMPACT to ban him from the premises. Upon reaching the location, he received Chris Jericho’s message about returning.

Considering he is a young pro-wrestler who is climbing the ladder to the top, there will be mistakes. However, ever since his arrival at AEW, Jericho has made room for him within his vicinity and has helped him become one of the better talents working with All Elite Wrestling at the moment.
