Scorpio Sky spoke to Jim Varsallone of the Miami Herald about ATT fighters moving to pro-wrestling. In the conversation, he revealed that many have the capacity to rise to the top if they wish to work with AEW or any other wrestling promotion.

Sky took three names – Jorge Masvidal, Paige VanZant, and Junior dos Santos. In his opinion, all three of them can become fan favorites and become strong competitors for the ones already at the top.

“Jorge Masvidal, he is a pro wrestler. He can do it, he gets it. I kind of talked to him a little bit and even in the fight game, he is a fan favorite. He has a little bit of a character, he’s got a lot of swag, and he kicks ass. That’s what you want in a professional wrestler.”

“Paige VanZant. If she wanted to get into the wrestling business, she would shoot straight to the top. She’d be very good at it. Obviously, she’s a monster athlete. She’s got the look, she’s got the charisma.”

“Junior dos Santos. I think he’s a wrestling fan and didn’t even know it. He’s been having a lot of fun with us. If he decided to crossover and jump into the wrestling business, Kenny Omega, the heavyweight championship, he might have to watch out because he has knockout power.”

Jorge Masvidal, Paige VanZant, and Junior dos Santos made AEW appearances

During AEW Rampage Grand Slam, the ATT fighters arrived in the ring where they took down Chris Jericho and Jake Hager. Masvidal was the one who actually took down Jericho with his signature flying knee.

Jericho and Hager took on Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page. Dan Lambert was in the Men of the Year’s corner alongside other ATT members.

On the other hand, Dan Lambert grabbed Hager’s leg, which helped Sky roll him for a pin. Following the loss, Jericho and Hager wanted revenge but the other members arrived and finally, Masvidal made his first-ever AEW appearance.

It’s unknown if any of the ATT members have decided to jump ship and pursue a career in pro-wrestling.
