The beauty of wrestling is whether it’s a singles match, tag team match, or even two factions squaring off, the entertainment is high. Now, AEW has captured all three areas, especially with the factions when it books MJF and The Pinnacle vs. Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle.

At AEW Blood and Guts, The Pinnacle won against The Inner Circle when the latter faction’s members surrendered to MJF so he wouldn’t throw Jericho off the roof of the steel cage. Unfortunately, MJF did, and Jericho hurt his left elbow severely.

In the following episode, Jericho returned with a truck loaded with bubbly and sprayed it on The Pinnacle during their segment. To avenge themselves, The Pinnacle challenged them to a Stadium Stampede match, and The Inner Circle accepted. However, MJF had one condition – if The Inner Circle loses, that will be the end of the faction. Jericho agreed!

Now, prior to the Stadium Stampede match at AEW Double or Nothing 2021, MJF shared a hilarious picture of himself and The Pinnacle. As per his caption, the Stadium Stampede match will be The Inner Circle’s graveyard, i.e., The Pinnacle will win and The Inner Circle will dismantle.

Considering The Pinnacle has already defeated The Inner Circle, their confidence is undoubtedly through the roof. However, it’s a good time to remember that Chris Jericho has already declared that MJF will never take his position unless he puts in the effort.

Therefore, this match can sway either way.

When did MJF and Chris Jericho’s feud begin?

The feud between the two factions started when MJF betrayed Jericho and The Inner Circle to form his own faction, The Pinnacle. Following that, he took over The Inner Circle’s locker room.

Of course, the locker room bit did not sit too well with the Jericho led faction. They waited outside while MJF gave a speech to his faction members.

When they tried to leave, The Inner Circle mauled each member of The Pinnacle.

Chris Jericho brutally attacked MJF, took his victim to the locker room washroom, shoved MJF’s head inside the toilet, and flushed it. After this humiliation, the other members of The Inner Circle dragged him outside the locker room and left him there.
