Kenny Omega remained the “Belt Collector” as he defeated Pac and Orange Cassidy in the AEW World title match at Double or Nothing 2021. Although he was on the verge of losing a few times, Omega picked himself up.
Omega shared a clip from the match where he kicked Pac. Thanks to both of their “sell,” the move seemed superhuman, made Omega looked invincible.
Apart from sharing the clip, “The Cleaner,” also revealed the secret to his powerful kicks and brought down his haters while he was at it. “3 knee surgeries later and I can still leg press more than 3/4 of the wrestlers out there,” wrote Omega. “Mostly because none of them train or have played any sports in their life.”

Kenny Omega had an interesting take on Orange Cassidy
Omega and his mentor Don Callis have previously said how they are not interested in Pac. Ahead of the triple threat match, the duo even tried to coerce “Freshly Squeezed” out of it with a contract.
Unfortunately for Omega, OC tore apart the ‘contract’ and continued with the match. In regards to the match, Cassidy would go after Omega for the title. AEW President Tony Khan also praised Cassidy following the match.
“Orange Cassidy is the kind of wrestler that is polarizing,” Omega told Sports Illustrated. “He’s tremendous in the ring. People don’t always take him seriously. It looks like he doesn’t take himself seriously, so the last thing the Kenny Omega character would ever want is to lose to someone like Orange Cassidy. It’s going to be an explosive match.”
More details are to be unveiled at Friday Night’s AEW. Till then fans can only speculate of the impending rivalry between two polar opposite characters.
