Hardy Family Office received their own entrance music at Double or Nothing as Matt Hardy entered the Casino Battle Royal.

However, Private Party accompanied him to the ring. They dominated major portions of the Battle Royal as the numbers game caught up to many wrestlers.

The heels looked like absolute d*ckheads, and it’s a genuine miracle that Hardy got the fans to boo a former fan favorite tag team in Private Party.

Unfortunately, his goal of becoming the #1 contender for the AEW World Championship ended at the hands of an old friend.

Christian Cage wanted to make this opportunity count and get his big match with Kenny Omega. However, Matt Hardy and his goons wanted to put an end to it. Jungle Boy and Christian Cage got rid of Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy, leaving Hardy to fend for himself.

Hardy tried to broker an alliance between him and the former WWE legend, calling on their history as the Attitude Era’s hottest young stars.

Unfortunately, Cage dumped Hardy out once he turned his back and faced Jungle Boy in a thrilling closing sequence. As for Hardy Family Office, it was a frustrating day at the office.

Isiah Kassidy makes a bold claim

One half of Private Party, Isiah Kassidy, took to Twitter to admonish Christian Cage for costing his boss a shot at the AEW World Championship. He then made a bold claim by saying the Hardy Boyz [Matt and Jeff] are better than Edge and Christian.

Kassidy even put his boss over Christian Cage on Twitter. Happy with the support, Hardy replied to the tweet with his new catchphrase, “The truth is the truth.”

This claim makes sense as the Hardy Boyz are 9-time tag team champions in WWE, while Edge and Christian won it 7 times. The disputable claim comes from their record in the iconic TLC matches, both of which Edge and Christian won.
