Kenny Omega lost the IMPACT Championship title to Christian Cage on AEW Rampage’s debut episode. On that same episode, Cage challenged Omega for the AEW World Championship at All Out 2021. It was time for Omega to put everything in the line.

Coming to the All Out 2021 main event, Cage and Omega received proper introductions. The challenger, the IMPACT World Champion Christian Cage, was first introduced. Next, Omega was introduced who was accompanied by Don Callis. It was an elite moment for the All Elite Wrestling Universe!

The match cannot be referred to as just a match. It was a physically dominating war between two champions, where one put everything on the line while the other wanted to take everything. It was the ultimate battle of champions.

First, it was Christian who dominated the match. He put Omega into the barricade and followed it with a brutal plancha.

However, Omega did not let the domination last, and he turned the tables with a table. After putting down Cage, he put a table on him and stomped on it, breaking into two halves. But this wasn’t enough to keep Christian Cage down.

Christian Cage tried to pin Kenny Omega, but failed

While Omega was fighting with all his might, Cage seized an opportunity to pin Omega. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough. The AEW World Champion kicked out at two, leaving Cage frustrated.

Now it was time for the interference. As Don Callis watched from ringside, he brought in reinforcements for Omega. On his signal, The Good Brothers came out to Omega’s aid. To keep Omega from getting disqualified, Callis kept the referee busy. But Christian Cage, quick as a cat, put down Doc Gallows.

Finally, Callis himself entered the ring to distract Christian Cage. This gave Kenny Omega the time to regroup, and ultimately Omega defeated Cage. This was Cage’s first loss in AEW, and Omega remains the AEW World Champion.

It’s the next bit which will be interesting. Christian Cage had vowed to take the belt from Kenny Omega, but failed. However, it’s not like Cage to give up and it’s unlike Omega to shy away from a challenge. Will there be a rematch? One can hope so!
