The Good Brothers and Kenny Omega continued to wreak havoc in AEW. This week, the newly reformed Bullet Club attacked Pentagon Jr backstage. Last week, the Lucha Brothers had helped Jon Moxley fight off the Good Brothers and Kenny Omega, and the attack on this week’s Dynamite was revenge.

Omega and the IMPACT Tag Team Champions assaulted the luchador backstage, kicking him and wailing away at him wildly. Dressed in a flamboyant purple shirt and brown silky boots, the AEW World Champion entered the fray and smiled at what he was seeing.
After the Good Brothers had Pentagon knocked out, Omega took off his boot and stabbed Pentagon in the eye with the pointy end of it. This injury will play into whatever storyline the new supergroup is starting with Moxley and the Lucha Brothers.
This segment bore an eerie resemblance to last year, when Chris Jericho stabbed Jon Moxley in the eye with the keys of his Ford GT. It is unlikely that Pentagon will sport an eyepatch like Moxley, but it is an intriguing development in this storyline.
What inspired the attack on Pentagon Jr?
Last week, Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers defeated the team of Danny Limelight, Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr, also known as the Varsity Blondes. Anderson and Gallows hit the Magic Killer on Limelight to pick up their first win in AEW.
After the match, Jon Moxley walked to the ring and went after Kenny Omega. The Good Brothers pulled Moxley off of Omega and started beating him up. To even the odds, the Lucha Brothers ran down to the ring and took out the Good Brothers.

The issues between the Lucha Brothers and the newly formed Bullet Club started at New Year’s Smash, where Kenny Omega beat Rey Fenix in a stunning AEW Title match. The attacks in the following weeks are leading to a giant clash between Moxley, Rey Fenix and Pentagon vs Omega, Anderson, and Gallows.
Moxley and the Lucha Brothers have never teamed up, but their enemies have. Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers teamed up in the main event of IMPACT Wrestling’s Hard to Kill PPV. They won a wonderful six-man tag team match against Rich Swann, Moose and Chris Sabin. Omega won the match by pinning the IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann after the One Winged Angel.
