Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega proved their place as the toughest dudes in wrestling. Both men put each other through twenty-five minutes of gruelling, cringeworthy and downright horrific levels of violence. The physical toll of the explosive barbwire deathmatch was seen on Jon Moxley as he cut a promo after the PPV ended.

A fan recorded footage of Moxley cutting a passionate promo after the gruelling AEW Championship match. The PPV ended disappointingly as the explosions that went off after the thirty-minute timer were quite lame. Instead of fire and smoke, we got sparklers and minor explosions that resembled firecrackers.

After Eddie Kingston ran down to protect him, Moxley cut a promo despite the unfortunate ending.

“There’s one thing we do out here in AEW, because we love wrestling just like all of you. We bust our ass, and I had one goal tonight, to lay it all on the line, to better my soul in this ring and work my ass off like it was the last night I was ever gonna get the blessing and the opportunity to do it for you fans.”

“So I’m going to go get piss f-ckin’ drunk. I’ll be back. I’ll be back for my World Championship, I’ll be back for Kenny Omega and every time from the bottom of my heart everybody in AEW, we thank you guys for your support.”

“The tide is turning”, said Moxley before dropping the mic and stumbling backstage, probably to get some medical help.

On AEW Dynamite, we saw Kenny Omega and Don Callis working on the barbwire and explosives. They even named it the Moxley Extermination Chamber. Kenny even put out the rules of the match and the dangers that surrounded the ring on Twitter.

One might think Kenny did a fantastic job with the ring till the match ended. Unfortunately, the ending casts doubt over how good an engineer is the Cleaner. Instead of a massive explosion, we witnessed a damp squib of an explosion. Gillberg’s entrance has more pyro than the end of that match.

Moxley said, “Kenny Omega may be a tough son of a bitch, but he can’t build an exploding ring worth a shit.” He is mighty tough, but a decent engineer he is not.
