We’re less than 24 hours away from the most anticipated PPV of the year – AEW Revolution. Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley take their rivalry to new heights as they meet in an Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch for the AEW World Championship. But who will prevail? Let’s find out!

Kenny Omega or Jon Moxley – who will walk out as AEW World Champion at Revolution?

Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega’s rivalry has really blossomed in the past couple of months. What started in a controversial finish will end at Revolution in a match unlike any other. A match that will never leave opponents the same again.

Moxley and Omega are world-class wrestlers, and there’s no doubt they’ll bring a banger to our screens. Omega may have come up with the match stipulation, but it is more of a home-ground for Moxley.

The ‘Deathrider‘ enjoys the blood and pain. He can battle it out despite all violence to his body.

Kenny Omega, however, is no jobber to lose the match. It won’t be easy for Moxley to bring Omega down, given the latter’s wrestling skills. The last time these two battled brutally was at Full Gear 2019 when Moxley defeated Omega in an Unsanctioned Lights Out match.

Moxley has the edge over Omega, but this isn’t the Omega we saw in the early months of AEW. This is the Omega who runs the place, this is the Omega who is the ‘Best Bout Machine.’ He will go to any heights to make sure the AEW World Championship stays with him.

If you ask us, then we’d say Kenny Omega walks out of this brutal match as still the AEW World Champion. Why? It makes sense to keep the title on him. Moxley won the title last year at Revolution and held it through for the entire year.

This time is Omega’s, and the way he has established his character since AEW New Year’s Smash only makes us get firm on our belief that he ain’t losing this Sunday. In fact, we guess Kenny Omega’s reign of dominance will continue for the rest of 2021.

Who’s next for Kenny Omega after Moxley?

Moxley is already one-up against Kenny. Hence, Kenny will be hell-bent on leveling that score. We believe Omega wins the match, and the feud ends. Moxley nurses his wounds and takes some time off as he is going to be a father in a few months.

On the flip side, Omega could engage in a feud with a ton of talent on the roster. AEW has a lot of top names, and anyone could make a great opponent for the champion.

However, we believe ‘The Cleaner’ will hold the title for the entire year, before eventually dropping it to ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.

Page and Omega have a great history together. It would be really exciting to see a face Hangman versus a heel Omega. Anyway, that match will happen when it has to. For now, we are sure Kenny Omega will retain his title and win the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch at AEW Revolution.
