SCU’s Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian put their Tag Team careers on the line as they took on The Young Bucks. The former tag team champions hoped to regain the titles from the Bucks, but it wasn’t easy as first thought. All four men gave it their all in the match. And it really showed, especially on the face of Christopher Daniels.

Both teams got off to a flying start. SCU got the edge over the Young Bucks, but the champions quickly turned the tide.

The Bucks looked to capitalize, but SCU recovered and fought them off. Daniels and Kaz then went for the kill with their finisher, but Matt Jackson came in for his brother’s save.

Matt Jackson shoved Christopher Daniels and even took out Kazarian. On the outside, Nick Jackson set his sights on Christopher Daniels.

He set Daniels against the steel ring post and hit him with a Superkick! The impact of the superkick against the post busted Daniels open, and he began bleeding profusely.

This wasn’t a planned spot, or a spot where Daniels bladed himself for the blood. This was a genuine accident in the middle of the match.

Huge props to everyone involved that made sure Daniels was okay and could complete the match for his team. Sadly, SCU completed the match, but the outcome wasn’t in their favor.

Like Frankie Kazarian had mentioned earlier, if SCU lose another match, they would be done as a tag team. And 10 weeks after that statement, the loss has finally come their way. Kazarian and Daniels must now go their separate paths. Will they reunite again in the future? Who knows? All we can do is look back at their classics.

SCU may have been done as a team, but they are far from done as singles competitors. Christopher Daniels proved what kind of tough S.O.B he is, and we’re sure he’ll continue to do so in the singles division going forward.

As far as Frankie Kazarian is concerned, we believe it would give him the perfect platform to shine as a singles star. And who knows? He might even end up in the TNT Championship picture!
