WWE releasing Ric Flair was huge breaking news. Flair, one of their longest-serving wrestlers, was reportedly unhappy with WWE regarding Charlotte’s booking.
Hence, it was the Nature Boy who specifically requested a release, and WWE granted him one. However, multiple reports suggest that the 16 time WWE champion could be on his way to WWE’s rival brand, AEW.
Ric Flair will consider a move to AEW when he can do so legally. If AEW can somehow pouch Ric Flair, the fans would love to see an Andrade-Ric Flair combo at AEW. Andrade, who already has an Ex-WWE Superstar Chavo Guerrero by his side, will have an enormous boost if he can have his future Father-in-law too.
