Fans Hilariously React to Cody’s Imposing New Hair-Do

When Superstars make huge returns, ratings go rocketing through the stratosphere. Although, sometimes the return could become an entirely new meme as was the case with Cody Rhodes earlier today.

The former AEW TNT Champion made a huge return to the ring today and shocked Brodie Lee in the best way possible. However, the excitement took a different trajectory when it was noticed that Cody was sporting a new look.

Brodie Lee and Anna Jay fled the ringside area, but as the camera focused on “The American Nightmare”, we could see that he had a different hair color.

Cody was now not a fiery blonde but had jet black hair. He walked towards the ring, unphased, and stared down a fleeing Brodie Lee. Cody then went to take out the rest of the Dark Order who attempted to attack him.

At first, the pop on his return took Twitter by storm. Soon enough, everyone started talking about his new hair. There has been a mixed reception about this new look.

I personally felt that the black hair made him look a lot more focussed and serious. That cold stare has now become a lot more prominent.

Along with the dark side themed ring attire, Cody now looks like a man who could send Brodie to the dust. He looks a lot more like Dracula or some sort of vampire in his new look.

Despite this change, a lot of fans have been highlighting the look over the return on Twitter. This isn’t an uncommon occurrence in professional wrestling, rather a gift that just keeps on giving.

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns recently made his major return at SummerSlam. The unexpected turn of events blasted WWE through the door in ratings. 

However, Reigns was trending the most because of his teeth. If you recall, they were extremely shining. This led to al to of memes pairing him with toothpaste commercials.

Cody will have to go through the same ocean of tweets for at least the next couple of days. While we are thrilled that he is back and ready to avenge himself, there’s no reason to why we can’t enjoy his new look at least for now.
