Chaos ensued as the Tag Teams fought for their chance at the title. Luchasaurus dominated everyone for a while before getting eliminated. Although Jake Hager was eliminated early in the match, the remaining three members of the Inner Circle were doing great so far.
Suddenly, the Good Brothers appeared and pulled down the ropes to eliminate Kassidy of the Private Party. MJF proceeded to toss Nick Jackson out of the ring.
MJF and Chris Jericho won the AEW Tag Team Battle Royale
After the elimination of the Young Bucks, the final contenders came down to MJF, Sammy, Jericho, Jungle Boy, Darius Martin, and Max Caster.
MJF eliminated Jungle Boy before getting eliminated himself. After rapid eliminations, the final three were Jericho, Sammy, and Martin.
Jericho tried to eliminate Martin, but he eliminated Sammy out of nowhere. Martin tried to Springboard onto Jericho; however, the ‘Le Champion‘ hit a Judas Effect, eliminating Martin.
This is a huge achievement for the Inner Circle, especially for Jericho and MJF. After weeks of claiming the ‘official’ Tag Team spot of Inner Circle, the duo finally earned a sure shot title opportunity at AEW Revolution.
