Chris Jericho Reacts to his Iconic Debate with Orange Cassidy on AEW

In an article a day ago, I mentioned that Chris Jericho would be prepared to ambush Orange Cassidy in the live debate on AEW Dynamite. Even though that happened, the segment was defined by much more than just the attack.

In the episode that aired a few hours ago, Orange Cassidy managed to take on Jericho and play him down at his own game! If we were being fair, Cassidy came over-prepared.

Chris Jericho probably thought he had it in the bag but frankly, he brought a knife to a gunfight. Jericho may have tasted defeat for the first time in a verbal contest.

The debate was moderated by the one and only Eric Bischoff, whose appearance on the show was announced a few hours prior to the event. In one particular question, Bischoff asked the two what their thoughts were on the rising sea level and its impacts.

Baffled by this question, Jericho refused to answer it but Cassidy had other ideas. He more than just answered it. 

In a recent post on Twitter, Jericho voiced his thoughts again and still seems pretty steamed about the moment. He even took the time to reply to some of the fans who were trolling him! You can see his response as well as Cassidy’s shocking reply to the question in the post attached below.

Chris Jericho vs Orange Cassidy is one of the biggest feuds in AEW right now. The two have been at each other’s throats for over a month now and will not stop.

The segments have been pure gold and the feud has earned AEW a significant boost in viewership ratings.

Cassidy’s orange juice prank combined with Jericho’s “Demo-God” promo was a great example of just how good the two can get. Jericho has finally met someone with as much attitude as him, and he doesn’t know how to deal with it.

The two will soon lock horns again, and Cassidy is determined to pull off the win. Someone has to shut Jericho up after all.
