Wrestling may be scripted, but the wrestlers aren’t actors. They are professionally trained athletes who have spent years perfecting their craft. Therefore, if anyone outside the industry tries to disrupt their act, they don’t hesitate in fighting back. This is what Chris Jericho did at AEW Road Rager when a fan tried to enter the ring.
While Chris Jericho and MJF were in the ring, a fan tried to disrupt the segment. He tried to enter the ring but was stopped by Jericho’s guards. However, Jericho’s guard was struggling to restrain him, and that’s when Chris Jericho interfered.

Jericho tackled the fan with a punch and then went over the ropes to the other side to push him ringside. Following that, certain ringside officials and security guards restrained him.
Even though the cameras panned away during the incident, it still got recorded. Moreover, MJF and Jericho referred to the incident during their segment as well.
While it may have been difficult to maintain a character at the moment, Jericho and MJF got back on track immediately.
Chris Jericho and MJF are trying to end teach other’s faction
MJF and Jericho have been coming at each other since MJF broke away from The Inner Circle and started his own faction, The Pinnacle.
They’ve cut various promos to bring down the other. In fact, MJF and The Pinnacle had taken over The Inner Circle’s locker room. It didn’t end well for The Pinnacle as the Inner circle mauled them and made them leave.
Following that, the two factions fought at AEW Blood & Guts. In that match, MJF won after members of The Inner Circle surrendered to save Jericho.

Their next match was a Stadium Stampede match where MJF put the stipulation that if The Pinnacle wins, The Inner Circle will have to dismantle their faction.
However, The Inner Circle won the match.

It’s possible AEW is continuing this faction-feud because of the overwhelming response from the fans. Moreover, both Jericho and MJF are notable names in the industry and have a large fan base.

Therefore, they have already established that Jericho and MJF are huge pro-wrestlers capable of making any storyline work.
