MJF betrayed Chris Jericho, and he thought there would be no consequences. However, Jericho has been in the industry long enough to know that every betrayal is met with an equal and opposite punishment.

Therefore, when MJF was conducting his meeting with his stable, The Pinnacle, there was a surprise waiting for him he did not expect. The Inner Circle was surrounding him from all exits, waiting to pick apart each member of The Pinnacle.

Next, they sent Wardlow through the table. The bystanders had to check in on Wardlow immediately afterwards because of the impact. Other members such as Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler were severely beaten up as well.

The worst one, however, was saved for MJF himself. Chris Jericho did not spare MJF and shoved the latter’s head inside a toilet. Following this, Jericho smashed MJF through a refrigerator glass. He celebrated with a bottle of champagne, drank a bit, and poured the rest on MJF.

Ultimately, the Inner Circle took back their locker room by destroying the invaders.

If not anything else, everyone should note what happened because The Inner Circle can be violent when required. The consequences of betrayal have always been brutal in the wrestling industry, and now, The Pinnacle have received a first-hand example.

The war between Chris Jericho and MJF

When MJF arrived at AEW, his objective was to become a part of The Inner Circle. He realized that the way to the top is by becoming a part of Chris Jericho’s stable. However, now, it seems like he had other plans in mind.

On a recent episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho led the entire stable to the ring to discuss some ongoing concerns. During this segment, Sammy Guevara pleaded with Jericho to hear him out. After some insisting, Chris Jericho agreed to listen to him.

Guevara showed footage of MJF trying to convince other pro-wrestlers to take down Jericho. With no further delay, Jericho kicked MJF out of the stable.
