AEW Social Media is already predicting Cody Rhodes and Brandi’s daughter will be a future AEW Women’s World Champion. Honestly, we cannot disagree. After all, she is the granddaughter of ‘The American Dream’ Dusty Rhodes and the niece of wrestling legend Dustin Rhodes, aka Goldust.
2021 is surely a great year for new moms. We expect Brandi and Cody to welcome their daughter anytime by the summer. Fellow AEW Superstar Jon Moxley, and his wife Renee Paquette, too, will be proud parents of a lovely daughter this year.
WWE Superstar Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins also welcomed their first child, a cute angel, Roux earlier this year. All in all, the next generation of pro wrestling is definitely going to take women’s wrestling to another level considering all these greats have or will have daughters!
Will Cody take paternity leave?
Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes were originally set to face NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal and Jade Cargill in a mixed-tag team match. They tweaked the plans after Brandi announced her pregnancy last December.

AEW Superstar and Brandi’s close aide, Red Velvet will now team up with Cody Rhodes on March 3rd against Shaq in his first legit professional wrestling match.
There is still some time for Cody’s daughter to come into the world. Hence, AEW fans can expect to see the ‘American Nightmare’ on their TV screens for a few months because we’re sure he’ll be away when daddy duties catch up to him.
